Hunting involves say running after a pest and killing it,this method is usually very slow and cannot be efficiently used to deal extensively with pests that have infested a large area for example the wild hog is now becoming extinct and this is all thanks to hunting them down. Old time farmers used to set ablaze their pieces of land for example after they harvest sugarcane,the fire would burn everything including the pests. This method however is not quite environmental friendly because fire burns everything including the vegetation and as such it may end up causing soil erosion. Use of traps is another pest control means, and this is whereby you buy a device that holds the insect and prevents it from moving.
